Santos have rarely publicly spoke over the sale of Neymar, to either Real Madrid or Barcelona, and it is widely reported that Neymar has already had a medical for Madrid and will move next summer to the Spanish giants after he has competed in the Club World Cup for Santos.
Despite Ramalho being unwilling to confirm this, he conceded that he doesn’t think Neymar will be at Santos’ for much longer.
Ramalho told globoesporte.com: “It is almost certain that in the next years, Santos will not be able to hold on to Neymar. There is a lot of haressment around the player.
“It is impressive that the club has managed to hold out this long.”
Ramalho looks set to lose one of his star players in Neymar as Santos look to climb up the league after a bad start to the season.
However, he believes that the club and the player have behaved very well over the whole projected saga.
Ramalho continued: “We are doing everything right. We are doing everything right, you know, without too much talk and leaving reporters in doubt.
“The kid has also done really well considering the tough games we have had recently.”
