The Seleção coach has been under pressure since the team’s poor showing at the Copa America, and that pressure intensified after a 3-2 defeat to Germany last month.

In a bid to remedy his side’s poor form, Menezes has shook up his squad, with the likes of Marcelo, Leandro Damiao and Hulk receiving call-ups.

The biggest name to return, however, is Ronaldinho. The 31-year-old has been in fine form for Flamengo, and now looks set to start against the Black Stars.

He is set to start on the left of a three man attack, with Damiao in the centre and Neymar on the right, and Ganso playing in the number 10 role behind them.

Ghana could be without Asamoah Gyan, who picked up an injury in their last game against Swaziland, but will still be formidable opposition.

It should make for a very entertaining spectacle, with two attacking sides full of flair and some world class players on show.

Probable Brazil line-up: Julio Cesar; Dani Alves, Thiago Silva, Lucio, Marcelo; Lucas Leiva, Fernandinho, Ganso; Neymar, Leandro Damiao, Ronaldinho.

Confirmed Ghana line-up: Kwarasey, Pantsil, Opare, Jona Mensah, Vorsah, A-Badu, Inkoom, Boateng, J Ayew, Muntari, K Asamoah.
