Atletico Mineiro 1-2 Cruzeiro

The visitors took the lead after 13 minutes with a goal from Walter Montillo, but Atletico pulled themselves level when Fillipe Soutto scored on 57′. A draw looked on the cards, but two minutes from time Montillo struck again to give Cruzeiro the win.

Gremio 2-1 Internacional

Marquinhos opened the scoring for Gremio after quarter of an hour, but Indio equalised for Inter on 27 minutes. A penalty from Douglas on 78′ gave the home side the win.

Ceara 3-0 Bahia

Ceara secured a routine win over relegation-threatened Bahia. The goals came from Thiago Humberto (16′), Felipe Azevedo (80′) and Edmilson (90′).

Figueirense 2-3 Avai

Avai secured a vital win in their bid to beat the drop at Figueirense. Ygor put the home side in front after 19 minutes, and although Lincoln equalised for Avai 20 minutes later, Figueirense led 2-1 at half-time as Julio Cesar scored just before the interval. The away side turned things around in the second half, thanks to a brace from William Souza (60′ and 87′).
