Sport claims that the Russian side are preparing a €35 million offer for Alves, as well as offering the 28-year-old an annual salary of €15 million.
Anzhi have been linked with Neymar and Ganso over the summer and hope to team Alves up with fellow Brazilian defender Roberto Carlos.
They have already demonstrated their financial muscle in recent months with the signings of Samuel Eto’o, Yuri Zhirkov and Balazs Dzsudzsak.
