Vasco da Gama 1-0 Palmeiras

Vasco moved up two places to fourth, overtaking Palmeiras in the process, with a narrow win. The only goal of the game came with ten minutes remaining, and was scored by Bernardo. The home side are now just four points off the top two.

Corinthians 2-2 Ceara

The league leaders took the lead on 24 minutes through Paulinho, but five minute later Ceara levelled via Osvaldo. A minute after that the home side were in front again with a goal from Alex, but they were denied victory when the visitors equalised for a second time, as Rudnei scored with six minutes left.

Figueirense 2-2 Flamengo

Deivid scored a brace (36′ and 51′) to put Flamengo in control, but Figueirense fought back to claim a point. Their goals came from Somalia (54′) and Edson Silva. Flamengo have a better goal difference than Corinthians, but the latter lead the way due to their higher number of wins.
