"[Neymar and Lucas] were very important players, but we have other players that can take their places with the same success. For example Alex Sandro, Alan Patrick, Philippe Couthinho and others," Uvini said. "We have young players of quality. New cracks are appearing in Brazil and they are playing and getting experience in their clubs, which is fundamental."
The young captain admitted that the team would need to work hard if they want to win the title. "The U20 World Cup is the most important youth trophy. It won’t be easy and therefore we need to take it step by step," he said. "Brazil want to be champion by playing a beautiful football. Our first objective is to follow the characteristic and style of Brazilian football."
Brazil will play the opening match against Egypt on Friday.
