“He didn’t talk to me, I was focused on the match, so he did not tell me what he was there for,” Daniel Alves told GOAL.com. “I’m also curious to know what he came here to do, but like I said, I was focused on the match.”

Of course as soon as the new came out rumors started to get louder. Barcelona has been reportedly interested in Neymar and Thiago Silva but also Chile’s Alexis Sanchez.

But according to the Spanish newspaper AS Rosell was there to see Andre Santos play. According to the Spanish publication Barcelona already contacted Andre Santos’ club, Fenerbahce.

But all those are rumors and it might just be that Rosell came to see the game for the beauty of football. As Daniel Alves said: “I think that other than being the president of Barcelona, he is also an admirer of football and a fan of the Brazil national team, so he watches us every chance he gets.”
