Ganso has not played for six weeks due to a thigh injury, but recently returned to training and has now been given the go-ahead to feature by Santos" club doctor, Rodrigo Zogaib.

“He is fine to play the 90 minutes," said Zogaib. “Ganso is at 100% and will have no limitations. Whether he plays or not only depends on [Santos coach] Muricy Ramlho"s tactical decision, but he is fit to play."

The news will also be a boost to Brazil coach Mano Menezes, who included the 21-year-old in his squad for the upcoming Copa America.

Ganso will be hoping to help his teammates secure the title with a win after the first-leg finished 0-0.
