And on the other hand he will have the opportunity to train and play alongside his idol and now PR agent, no other than: Ronaldo Fenomeno.
The Selecao will prepare their two friendlies against the Netherland and Romania at Parque Ecológico, Corinthians’ training camp. And even though Lucas says training at Corinthians won’t affect him, there is a chance that once on the pitch a few memories will revive in the head of the now Paulista.
He started his career in 2003 at Corinthians and played for three seasons there, but the club unwillingness to facilitate his transport from the South Zone, where he lived, to the training camp and to find him a good school made his father more attentive to Sao Paulo’s propositions.
“Now my heart is for Sao Paulo,” he says. “And I won’t think about all that, it is going to be a normal training.”
Well maybe not!
Because he will be training and maybe playing with Ronaldo. The former football world star is now his PR agent, and Lucas hopes he will be able to offer him an assist. “It’s going to be amazing, we have a very good relationship outside the pitch,” he says. “But next Tuesday it will be his party.”
