The negotiations between Corinthians, the player and Spartak Moscow (his current club), were going on for a few month, but everything was concretised in the last few days. First when Duílio Monteiro Alves, assistant director of Corinthians, went to Russia to meet with Alex. And today Spartak Moscow gave its allowance to the player to go back to Brazil for the medical test.
Only problem, Alex will miss the beginning of the Brasileirão as the transfer window in Europe will only open in August. Nevertheless, Andres Sanchez, president of Corinthians, said he would make a request for an early transfer.
