As the inquest continues the Brazilian press has begun to speculate who should succeed Dunga and guide Brazil to victory in 2014.

The two most popular mentions in the media are Luiz Felipe Scolari and Mano Menezes. Scolari remains one of the most popular figures in Brazil, after leading the Selecao in their last successful World Cup in 2002. He currently coaches Palmeiras.

Mano Menezes, currently at Corinthians, is considered one of the most gifted coaches of recent times. What this speculation actually reveals is that many in Brazil are longing for experienced and winning coaches, who are keen on discipline and hard work, but will not compromise talent in the process.
