CBF will release the full table of the first ten rounds of the Brasileirão Assaí  Serie A 2020 later today. The competition will commence on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th of August.

The setup of the matches for each team was maintained, according to the Technical Council decision held on February 27 this year.

On Saturday, 8, the first Championship match will be played between Fortaleza and Athletico at 7 pm, at Arena Castelão. While on Sunday the 9th, current champion, Flamengo, debuts in the classic against Atlético-MG, at 4 pm, at Maracanã.

Other fixtures to be played on Sunday would be a match between the Serie B champion Red Bull Bragantino and Santos, at Vila Belmiro.

The CBF Competitions Directorate separated the matches of the first ten rounds, in the restructured Brasileirão table.

The Brazilian Championship is expected to come to a close February 2021, after the adjustment of the competition due to the pandemics.

The clubs agreed if necessary to play outside their cities at the time of their matches, due to sanitary restrictions of the pandemic, in a joint meeting with CBF.
