Joelinton Sees ‘No Problem’ With Premier League Adaption
Newcastle United striker Joelinton says he sees no issues with adapting to the Premier League having spent time playing in the Bundesliga.
The Brazilian left Hoffenheim for St. James’ Park this summer and scored the winner for the Magpies away at Spurs in August.
Joelinton says he is already adapted to European football and that the Premier League is not enormously different.
“Game to game I am gaining confidence. The football here is not too different, no. It’s a little faster than in Germany, but not very.
“I don’t think I will have a problem adapting, but I know I have to have patience. I arrive with pressure, with a big transfer fee.
“But I am not an idol here yet, there are lots of things I have to do before I get there. I have to make history and do a lot, but I know my responsibility.
“I am playing in the best league in the world with the best players but I’m certain that I can have a great season and maybe have a chance with the national team.”
