Paris Saint-Germain continues to look for young gems with high potential on the transfer market. After successfully recruiting Brazilians Lucas Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo in recent years, the French capital club has now set its sights on Wesley Gassova, a 19-year-old left winger playing for Corinthians.

This young striker has been playing in the academy of the famous Brazilian club since his debut. Despite her young age, Gassova has already proven herself in the first team this season, with two goals and an assist in twelve matches played in all competitions. His technique with the ball, his speed and his sense of dribbling caught the eye of Parisian recruiters.

Increased competition on Wesley Cassova’s case

Under contract with Corinthians until December 2027, Wesley Gassova is also attracting interest from Betis Sevilla in Spain. Aware of the competition on this issue, PSG will have to be convincing to attract the young winger into their nets this summer. Parisian leaders particularly appreciate the Brazilian gems that they manage to unearth and polish before launching them at the highest level.

Recruiting Gassova would therefore be part of the strategy developed by the club in recent years, which consists of strengthening its academy with promising young talents from the Brazilian pool. If he were to join Paris Saint-Germain, Wesley Gassova would sign a new chapter in the tradition of recent Brazilian successes at the club, like Lucas Beraldo and Gabriel Moscardo.
