According to transfer window specialist Ekrem Konur, the Magpies are waiting for an offer exceeding 100 million euros to release their player. A substantial sum to secure the services of the man who has established himself as an executive within the Newcastle collective. Since his arrival in January 2020 from Lyon for a fee of 40 million euros, Guimaraes has continued to progress.

His market value has therefore logically exploded, now reaching the 100 million claimed by his club. A price which should not dampen the competition, starting with PSG and Real Madrid. Both clubs had already expressed interest in Guimaraes last summer and appear determined to make a move soon.
