A quick-fire goal in less than a minute into the encounter with a goal from idol Jô in the second half was enough to seal victory for the Timão.

Bragantino were depending too much on Arthur’s individual ability and put more of the ball to the right hand side of attack. One of those attacks came close to being a goal but goalkeeper Cássio was equal to the task.

After that attack, the game went cold and the first half ended that way.  was looking out of shape initially and Corinthians were failing to connect in their opponent’s half due to that.

In the second half, Bragantino continued to threaten the Corinthians’ goal scoring but Cassio was equal to the task for CorinthiansTimão was in control for most of the game and were boosted by good spells from Mateus Vital and Ramiro to help keep their opponents at bay from Arthur’s movements.

Jo would soon get delight of his own. In his first game of 2020, the forward was able to get a goal of his own after heading the ball decisively from a corner kick. The goal put the game beyond doubt for Corinthians as they sealed the win.
