Paris Saint Germain boss Unai Emery has confirmed that Lucas Moura is free to look for another club
during the January transfer window and that he expects the player to leave.
The Brazilian joined PSG back in 2013, but the arrivals of the likes of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe has
pushed him down the pecking order.
The 25 year old has not started for the French club yet this season, making only 5 substitute
appearances and PSG boss Emery has said he is free to leave the club.
"Players who play less maybe can join another team because they are good players and do not have
the possibility to play here- like Lucas Moura and Hatem Ben Arfa."
Lucas is again being linked to Manchester United, the club who tried to prize him from São Paulo in
2013, before baulking at the price the French club were willing to pay.
Jose Mourinho namechecked the Brazilian during a press conference last week, saying, "What Paris
Saint Germain did this season with Neymar and Mbappe, they get two of probably the four best
attacking players in the word – they get two at the same time.
"And then players like [Angel] Di Maria, [Julian] Draxler, [Javier] Pastore, Lucas, they are second
choices. Money makes a difference."
