23-year-old Brazilian national team goalkeeper Álisson is edging closer towards the exit door as speculations linking him with a move to Italian side AS Roma heats up.
According to the Roma Web Rádio, Álisson has an agreement with the Italian club in a sale involving €5 million, but the goalkeeper will only leave Internacional after the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. However, the Brazilian club’s board have denied the information. Globo Esporte contacted the vice president of Inter, Pedto Affatato, responsible for the club’s finances, and he denied that they’ve entered into any sort of agreement with Roma.
With a contract until November 2016, Álisson can sign a pre-contract with any club from May and then leave on a free transfer six months later. Álisson earns one of the lowest salaries at Internacional, and the club have failed to reach an agreement with the player on a renewal. Pedro Affatato said: “Nothing has arrived. If there was something, the financier knows. It’s not the case. So far, there is nothing.”
