Juventus are looking at going back in for Chelsea playmaker Oscar in January, Tuttosport have revealed.

The Old Lady have struggled to replicate last season’s dominant form this campaign and are now pondering the decision to take a dip back into the transfer market.

They are still looking for a trequartista who will make the difference and propel the club towards a late season title charge.

This, despite signing Inter’s Hernanes at the tail-end of the summer window.

However the 30 year old Brazilian hasn’t quite hit the heights that are expected in Turin.

After selling both Arturo Vidal to Germany and Carlos Tevez to Boca Juniors last summer, both the club and the fans are looking for another poster-boy to worship.

Juventus have been a long term admirer of the 24 year old Chelsea man but as of yet haven’t followed this up with a concrete bid.

Massimino Allegri’s side were sitting as low as 15th only a matter of weeks ago but his side has risen to seventh following a 3-1 away against Empoli.

Nonetheless a move for Oscar would signal a big intent that they are not going to relinquish their title without a fight.

With Allegri now relying on a young Paulo Dybala and not the wily Carlos Tevez he may feel he needs an injection of South American magic to re-capture the spark. Just like the one he lost to Bayern Munich last summer.
