Grafite says he believes Dunga, Brazil boss last time the former Wolfsburg striker represented his country, is the right man to take the Seleçāo forward.

The 36-year-old has just returned to play in Brazil for the first time since 2006, after spells in the United Arab Emirates and Qatar since leaving Germany, and he scored the winner on his debut yesterday for Santa Cruz against Botafogo in their Serie B crash in front of a packed house at the Arruda.

He told Lancenet: “I think Dunga is more experienced. Before the 2010 World Cup, he had no management experience outside the Seleção, no national team is easy to manage, especially Brazil. So I think he’s more experienced. I’m happy he’s returned, I had the chance to work with him in 2010 in the World Cup and in the friendly against Ireland. Unfortunately we couldn’t achieve our objective, which was to win the cup, but it was a good experience for me. “
