Rhodolfo will play for Besiktas this season. Grêmio’s president, Romildo Bolzan, confirmed that the Brazilian club had reached agreement with the Turkish team for the transfer of the 28-year-old defender.
The Gauchos will pocket just over 1.5 million euros from the transfer of their club captain who has appeared 63 times since he signed from Sāo Paulo.
“Rhodolfo has signed a definitive agreement and we are happy with the outcome,” said Bolzan.
“Gremio will receive the cash almost totally as a one-off payment. We thank Rhodolfo for everything he has done and wish him luck.”
