Santos and São Paulo both remain undefeated in the Paulistão as they played out an entertaining 0-0 draw.

Home team Santos had the better chances through the dynamic Geuvânio but they could not find a way through and São Paulo left with a deserved point. The result means both teams currently stay top of their respective groups.

Elsewhere Palmeiras beat Rio Claro by three goals to nil. Cristaldo broke the deadlock in the 34th minute and Zé Roberto doubled the lead midway through the second half. Rafael Marques completed the scoring ten minutes from time. Palmeiras sit top of group C while Rio Claro are second in group B.
