Corinthians qualified for the group stage of the Copa Libertadores by beating Once Caldas 5-1 on aggregate.

Last week Corinthians won the first leg 4-0 in Brazil and they were quick to make their mark in Colombia with Elias striking first in the 14th minute. Once Caldas equalised through Arango in the 57th minute but it was no more than a consolation.

Corinthians will now join group 2 along with San Lorenzo, Danubio and local rivals São Paulo. They will play their first fixture early next month.

Corinthians last won the Copa Libertadores in 2012. They also won the Club World Cup that year, the last South American team to do so.
