Santos have re-signed Ricardo Oliveira twelve years after he last played for the club.
The 34 year old striker last played for the club in 2003 and was an instant success in his brief spell as Santos reached the Copa Libertadores final. He has since played for clubs such as AC Milan and Valencia.
An official contract has yet to be signed as Oliveira still has the medical examinations to complete on Wednesday. Despite this a deal has been agreed between the players’ representatives and Santos.
Santos will hope that Oliveira can help fill the void left by Leandro Damiao who recently joined Cruzeiro on loan.
