Portuguese club Sporting Lisbon are reportedly interested in Cruzeiro’s central-defender Léo who had a terrific campaign this year.
According to A Bola in Portugal, Sporting have been following Léo and their defense is one of the weakened sector which needs reinforcement. Superesportes MG contacted the player’s representative Jorge Machado who refused to confirm that there’s a proposal for Léo.
In August, Léo had renewed his contract for 3 more seasons, keeping him at Cruzeiro until 2017.
