Ronaldinho could join Robinho at SantosRonaldinho won 97 Brazil caps, as well as the World Cup in 2002
Brazilian news outlet esporte.com have reported that former Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho is being lined up to join his old teammate Robinho at Santos, following the ending of his contract at Atletico Mineiro.
Ronaldinho's brother and agent has apparently been in early negotiations with the Sao Paulo-based club and indicated that he would be willing to sign on a short-term deal on a lesser wage than his 30 year-old countryman.
The arrival of Robinho at Santos has seen ticket sales soar, and the board believe that a similar package for 34 year-old Ronaldinho would see in come rise even further.
Should the deal happen, it would be the former Barcelona star's fourth stint at a Brazilian club, after turning out in the past for Mineiro, Flamengo and Gremio, where his career started in 1998.
