Barca sporting director says Dani Alves is staying at the clubAlves joined Barcelona back in 2008
Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta has insisted that defender Dani Alves is training with the club as normal, in the wake of persistant rumours of a transfer away from the Catalan giants.
In a statement released through the club, former Spain goalkeeper Zubizarreta said: "At the moment we have receieved no offers for Dani Alves. He is a plyer in our squad and he is training very well."
"I think we're going to enjoy what we have here at the moment. We're comfortable now. At this moment we have a high quality defensive line. Until the deadline there are options to buy more players."
Barca have recently recruited Jeremy Mathieu from Valencia and Thomas Vermaelen from Arsenal in a bid to plug a defensive gap left by the retirement of club legend Carles Puyol.
