Alexandre Pato’s agent has rejected claims the São Paulo forward has spoken to Italian side Internazionale regarding a potential move.
The former AC Milan striker has been linked with another switch of clubs as he continues to struggle since moving to São Paulo from Corinthians.
Serie A champions Juventus were suggested as a possible option, while Inter Milan have also been raised as a potential suitor.
However, Gilmar Veloz, Pato’s agent, has been quoted by Forza Italian Football as ruling out a move for his client.
He insisted all rumours linking the one time Brazil international with a transfer to Inter as false.
Veloz said: “This rumour about Pato to Inter at the moment is not real. I have not heard from anyone at Inter.
“A return to Corinthians? No return. With Sao Paulo, he has a two-year contract and wants to respect it.”
With Pato continuing to struggle, it is anybody’s guess where the 24-year-old will end up next.
