Philippe Coutinho is looking forward to the new Premier League season, having missed out on both the championship with Liverpool and a place in Brazil’s World Cup squad.
Speaking to Lance!Net in Brazil, Coutinho said: “I am very anxious. I cannot wait to start preseason. A week here, watching games on television, is already driving me crazy.”
He admits that the infamous loss at home to Chelsea was hard to take but is pleased that his club can look forward to European football next season.
“The game against Chelsea was disgusting. It was hard, but in the end we were happy with a spot in the Champions League.”
