Brazil defender Daniel Alves has admitted that his side are feeling the pressure ahead of this evening’s crucial World Cup Group A game with Cameroon in Brasilia, a game that will determine the future of the hosts at this year’s competition.

The Barcelona right back told reporters ahead of the match: “Our challenge is to be top of the group and with this as our motive we want to end the phase with a victory.”

“Brazil have not yet shown the best of ourselves but I can see that, day to day, we are improving.”

“It’s not easy to cope with the pressure of the Brazilian people demanding that we reach the final and win the title, but we are professional players and we will fight for this dream.”
