Luiz Felipe Scolari will stick with the same formula that has brought success to Brazil over the past couple of years, resisting any temptation to bring in new faces for their vital Group A game against Cameroon this evening.

The head coach will stick with the likes of Paulinho and Fred, and bring back Hulk after an alleged minor muscle injury, for the match in Brasilia which will determine who the hosts will face in the next round of the competition.

Scoalri told reporters after a final training session at the Estadio Nacional: “I’m not going to change. I trust in the team from the first game.”

“My players know that I act this way. We are a group. And they know they have a person in command that leads.”

Brazil will know before kick off whether they will face Netherlands or Chile in the second round, should they as expected win the group; this is because the Group B fixtures take place four hours earlier today.
