Chelsea midfielder Ramires has laughed off the suggestion that the pressure is getting to Brazil ahead of the World Cup and insisted that the entire Brazil squad just want the tournament to start in earnest.

The 27 year-old told reporters at the national team training base in Teresopolis: “Of course we are very anxious to get to the first game.”

“We have one more training session, and now it’s going to start. I think that this is everyone’s dream. All the players, all the technical and coaching staff, everyone that is involved in the national team, it’s a dream.”

“And now we’re close to making this dream come true, which is getting to the final and winning. Every game that bRazil is going to play, we have the pressure to win games.”
