The attacking midfielder has denied that his baby has arrived and that he has been dropped from Brazil’s World Cup squad.
With Oscar carrying an injury at the end of the English Premier League season, and a new addition to the family on its way, the Chelsea player has posted a video online to clear up any uncertainty about his involvement in preparations for the tournament.
He said: “I wanted to tell you that I’m still here. My daughter was not born. I was not cut. I’m going to train today and, God willing, my daughter will be born soon.”
