The Lazio striker needs two goals in this summer’s tournament to surpass the former Brazil forward’s tally of 15.
Speaking to the Italian media, the German international said: “Those who know me know this is indeed an aim of mine.
“With one goal I am joint top. I need two to be top. I am on a good road. Fitness coaches here know me and know what I need. I expect to be 100 per cent at the tournament.”
