Willian admits he would like to score and create more goals for his Chelsea team mates but has acknowledged his key defensive contribution to the Blues game as a key attribute he possess.

TalkSPORT quoted the Brazilian attacking midfielder on how life has been since moving to west London in August.

The Brazilian said: “People are very happy about my work, but I think I still have a lot to do and I have a lot of things that I could do better.

“I feel I could score more goals and set up more goals for other people. I am happy with what I have done this season, but I still think I could do more for Chelsea.

“I have always been told that I am a creative player with lots of strengths in attacking play, but since I arrived here I have tried to develop the defensive side of my game and my marking and it is working for me.”

Before Willian explained how in Brazil the tactical role of midfielders is viewed completely differently to Europe.

The Chelsea midfielder concluded: “When I moved to Europe, I started developing my defensive skills, because when I was playing in Brazil we were only thinking about attack and offensive play.”
