The Brazilian defender recently became an ambassador for the charity.

Johnson & Johnson, the World Cup’s official health care sponsor, recently launched its local World Cup campaign called “True winners care”.

The company is looking for stories of real heroes who care. For each story it receives or for each product purchased displaying the “True winners care” sticker, Johnson & Johnson will make a donation to SOS Children’s Villages in Brazil, the charity represented by the 30-year-old Brazil international.

“The money will go straight toward the charity’s projects in Brazil.”

“As an ambassador for SOS Children’s Villages and a Brazilian, that’s something which is very close to my heart. Kids in my home country need all the help they can get and I’d like to do my bit.”
