Former Brazil goalkeeper Dida is still awaiting his debut for Internacional as the 2002 World Cup winner struggles to overcome a right leg muscle injury. The 40 year-old only just joined the club and has said that this could well be his last season in a most glittering career that has spanned over 20 years.

Ex-Milan, Corinthians and Gremio shot stopper Dida, who has also won the Champions league on two occasions, was said to be close to making the Inter squad for tomorrow’s game with Juventude but reports on goal.com.br suggest that he is not quite ready to be considered for selection.

Inter have been on a healthy run of form in the past couple of weeks, picking up state championship wins against Caxias and Pelotas, as well as drawing 1-1 away to Gremio.
