Luiz Felipe Scolari has joked he will move to Kuwait should Brazil fail to win the World Cup this summer.

UOL Copa reported quotes after he spoke at a lecture to the students of Brasiliense Institute of Public Law, the national team coach also talked about his confidence in Seleção.

Scolari said: “There is respect for opponents but it is not so hard to win the World Cup.

“There is nothing challenging for me at this time to be world champions in Brazil.

“If we lose, there is an embassy in Kuwait next door and I ask for asylum.”

The Brazil coach appeared confident when speaking to the 300 college students and was humorous when discussing his team.

He did add that although he has everything prepared and arranged off the field. The common nature in football is elements changing rapidly so he waits to see which players he has at his disposal come June time.

“Why am I so quiet today? Because everything is planned,” Scolari said confidently.

“Everything is organised. It might not be ready in the aspect of football, like choosing one or another player.

“Because football often has changes with one thing or another. The rest, everything is ready.”
