Luiz Felipe Scolari has praised Brazil technical coordinator Carlos Alberto Parreira.
Whilst talking at a lecture to the students of Brasiliense Institute of Public Law, the Brazil coach revealed his admiration for the former World Cup winner.
Talking about Parreira, he said: “Today I have someone on my side who is Professor Carlos Alberto Parreira.
“He is spectacular. Completely different from my way of thinking and acting.
“And it’s great because it makes me grow.”
UOL Copa reported the Seleção coach also thanking the Brazil Football Confederation for their continued help and hopes to repay them with a World Cup triumph this summer.
He believes their help in planning the tourament and the freedom they have allowed him will ensure Brazil can do their best in trying to win the prestigious tournament.
Scolari said: “That’s why I tell you: they can rest assured.
“We’ll get where we have to and prove we are the best and we are able to do so.”
