São Paulo’s new loan star Dorlan Pabón is set to make his debut on Thursday night against Paulista.

That is according to Brazilian newspaper Lance, who believe that he will train with Tricolor on Wednesday before making his debut the follow day after being cleared to compete in Brazil.

Pabón joined on loan from Spanish side Valencia last week but has spent the past weekend in his native Columbia, delaying his debut. He was forced to arrange his visa to work in Brazil as well as other administrative tasks.

The 26-year-old received a boost when São Paulo manager Murky Ramalho said he would hand the striker his debut if he was fit and expects him to feature soon. It now seems Pabón will get that chance.

Lance predict his Tricolor bow will come in their State Championship match this Thursday and everything points towards the Columbian making his debut.

He’ll hope to help his side get back to winning ways after being defeated by Palmeiras at the weekend.
