The Brazilian midfielder is close to confirming a move to Inter Milan and was unable to contain his tears when took photos with the Lazio fans he so adores.
The 28-year-old was emotional as he arrived at Lazio’s training ground in Formello. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the player was only there to say goodbye to the staff and players of Lazio.
In a video released on the internet, Hernanes arrives at Formello in his car and is met by many fans and journalists alike. The fans began chanted for him to say as he signed autographs and posed for photos.
Inter have offered £12m for the midfielder which is thought to be very close to Lazio’s valuation of the player.
The Brazilian international’s fine performances have turned him into a fan’s favourite at the Rome club since he joined the club from São Paulo in 2010.
