ex Coritiba, right back Rafinha was officially presented this Monday as Schalke 04’s new reinforcement.
Rafinha, 19 years, played the last U20 World Cup in Netherlands and scored the goal which eliminated Germany in the quarter final.
The player had a medical examination before carrying the shirt of the team coached by Andreas Möller. Schalke spent nearly 5 million euros to secure the services of the Paranaense defender who they hope will help their Champions League.
Rafinha joined three compatriots: central defender Bordon, midfielder Lincoln as well as the German naturalized forward, Kuranyi.
