Botafogo coach Oswaldo de Oliveira wants his side to maintain their concentration in the two remaining games before the break for the Confederations Cup.

Having already played so-called stronger teams Corinthians, Santos, and Cruzeiro, coming away with two wins and one draw, the team look to the next two games against Bahia and Ponte Preta.

They travel to Aracaju to face Bahia on Thursday night, before visiting Campinas to play another away game against Ponte Preta.

Survival in the division will be the immediate aim of these two sides, so Botafogo can expect to encounter an entirely different test to those faced so far this season.

Oswaldo de Oliveira commented on the upcoming challenge: "They [the players] were warning about the next game. Let’s go with the same attention and the same dedication."

For Botafogo to mount a serious title challenge, they’ll need to get results against the teams lower down the table, as well as being solid against other title challengers.
