Former Schalke forward Edu continued his 100% goalscoring record for Liaoning Whowin this season with a goal in a 2-2 draw with Shanghai Shenhua—his fourth goal in three matches for his new side.

The Brazilian, though, will be disappointed as the North-East side let slip a 2-0 half-time lead to draw with Shenhua, with both sides still unbeaten in the 2013 Super League.

His arrival, though, has helped transform Liaoning’s outlook, with the expected relegation battlers enjoying life with their new-look foreign strikeforce of Edu, Zambian James Chamanga and Serbian Milos Trifunovic.

With four goals, Edu currently lies second in the league’s scoring charts behind Guangzhou Evergrande’s Elkeson, who has netted six times in three games.

On Saturday night, former Nautico striker Kieza also scored his first goal for Shanghai Shenxin, converting from the penalty spot in a 2-2 draw with last year’s runner-up Jiangsu Sainty.

His Shenxin side, though, remain winless after their opening three fixtures.
