São Paulo crumbled to a 2-1 defeat as Argentineans Arsenal snatched a last minute goal to make progression to the next round a complicated affair.

A injury time winner from Diego Braghieri gave Arsenal the win and elevates them to third, level on points with São Paulo in second and one point ahead of The Strongest in bottom place.

Jorge Otiz had given the hosts the lead in the second half after beating Rogerio Ceni to a loose ball and tucking a finish past the goalkeeper.

São Paulo found an equalizer as Aloisio headed home a simple finish after a rebound from Arsenal goalkeeper Cristian Campestrini.

But Braghieri, now infamous for his two footed challenge on Atlético Mineiro’s Ronaldinho, struck home with a superb volley from outside of the box to give the win to Arsenal.

São Paulo will now have to win both of their remaining games to ensure their progression into the next round and will also have to keep an eye on other results.
