Internacional striker Leandro Damião insists that no offers has been made for him, despite rumours of renewed interest from Tottenham.

Damião, 23, has constantly been linked with a move away from the Brazilian club over the past 18 months, with Tottenham now being linked with a £15 million bid.

Spurs manager Andre Villas-Boas is a keen admirer of the forward, who has 14 caps for his country, and could be tempted into bringing the striker to White Hart Lane this January after striker Emmanuel Adebayor decided to join up with the Togo national team for the African Nations Cup, leaving Jermain Defoe as his only forward option.

“I guarantee that, for now there has been no proposal, no negotiations. I am only thinking about Internacional,” Damião told Zero Hora.

“The president is the one who decides.”

Internacional are keen to keep hold of the striker and the president, Giovanni Luigi, revealed that only a ‘spectacular offer’ would see them part with the player.
