Brazil quartet Marcelo, Dani Alves, David Luiz and Thiago Silva have been named on the 20-man shortlist for the 2012 FIFPro World XI.
Four defenders will be selected for the World XI which will be announced at the Fifa Ballon D’Or Gala on January 7.
