Since Santos sold Ganso to São Paulo, Felipe Anderson has taken a greater role in the Santos team and his form over the past few months has caused AC Milan to show interest in the player.

However, Anderson, 19, is surprised by the attention he is receiving from the Italian giants, and for now just wants to concentrate on his role at Santos.

He told reporters: “It’s a surprise, yes, because I have not shown you everything I can or had a good regularity in the team. Now at the end of the year I showed my quality, but it is a surprise and I have not even stopped to think about it, I’m focused on the games we have and not thought of it yet.

Milan had scouts in Vila Belmiro on Saturday to watch Anderson in the match against Figueirense, yet the midfielder was keen to stress that he wanted to stay at Santos for a while yet.

“It is a dream yes, can not help but admit this. Otherwise I’d be lying, but my dream is to be a Santos idol and win titles, which I have not done. So I have to play here a long time.”

There have been rumours that the playmaker could be used in a deal with the italians to bring Robinho back to Santos, which would sadden Anderson as he admitted that he would love to play with the former Real Madrid star.

“It’s a dream to play with Robinho. If he were to come and would welcome playing it would be better. I do not know if I’ll go, everybody asks me, but I am in Santos. Let’s work to be good next season,” he added.
