Reports in England and Italy suggest that Chelsea have given up on their chase for FC Porto star Hulk, with talks stalling over a near £40 million transfer.
Both the Gazzetta dello Sport and the Daily Mail suggest that the Blues, who have chased Hulk for some time, are turning their attention to either Fiorentina’s Stevan Jovetic or Newcastle’s Hatem Ben Arfa as they look for a new wide midfielder.
Hulk, who is thought to be very keen on a move to West London, has been put to one side for the moment, but there is still an indication that the two parties may come to an agreement shortly.
