The twenty nine year old Brazilian has been told he can leave Chelsea in the January transfer window after the Blues boss, Andre Villas-Boas, confirmed last weekend that Alex’s transfer request was accepted by the club.
The former Santos centre back was linked with a move to the Emirates stadium, but Gunners boss, Arsene Wenger has told Sky Sports that he will not be signing a centre back in January transfer window.
”We will not be on the market for any centre-back, I can assure you.”
”We need more full-backs I think. It’s not good for the squad if so many full-backs are injured,” said the French tactician.
